In April 2009 Selfmade Records released their second label sampler with Kollegah, Favourite, Casper and Shiml. Since 2009 Blume is studying law at the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz. On AugBlume released his second studio album Kollegah, which peaked at 17 in Germany, 48 in Switzerland and sold over 20,000 copies. Fler responded with the song " Schrei nach Liebe", the chorus of which is heavily based on Die Ärzte's 1993 hit single "Schrei nach Liebe". Kollegah responded on 20 March with the song "Fanpost", calling Fler a "fat potato" and claims that he was penetrated with a carrot. In the song, they accuse Selfmade Records artists of having created the feud for the sole purpose of marketing their album Kitty Kat also attacks Favorite by referring to the death of his parents, who died because of a fire while camping. In March, a song titled "Früher wart ihr Fans" was released by Fler, Kitty Kat and Godsilla as a reaction. The song "Westdeutschlands Kings" performed by Kollegah, Favorite and Farid Bang, targeted insults at Sido, Fler and Kitty Kat from Aggro Berlin. Alphagene peaked on 51 and sold over 20,000 copies. Blume's first studio album Alphagene was set to release in September 2007, but was postponed to November, because he was found guilty of owning drugs. He earned critics for his bad live performance in Splash! in 2006. In July 2006 Blume published his second Mixtape Boss der Bosse. 2005–2007: Selfmade Records, Zuhältertape and first studio album Alphageneīlume released his first Mixtape Zuhältertape for free in 2005 and the re-release Zuhältertape X-Mas Edition on Decemunder Selfmade Records. From December 2004 until May 2005 Kollegah participated in rap battles on the online platform Reimliga Battle Arena (RBA) and won 11 out of 14 evaluated battles. He stopped translating and started his rap-career under the pseudonym T.O.N.I. With age 15, he converted to Islam and translated the book Death - Resurrection - Hell by Adnan Oktar. He made his Abitur 2005 on the Herzog-Johann-Gymnasium.īlume came in contact with Islam, because of his stepfather. Blume was born in Friedberg, Hesse and grew up fatherless in Simmern. Felix Blume's father is of Canadian descent and his mother of German descent.
